It wasn't my choice. Let's get away from content *creation* tools altogether.

Can the client require their contractors to use SourceSafe for access control? Of course they can.

Remember, the issue was whether a client can require a contractor to use specific tools and attend meetings at specific times without changing the nature of the relationship between them. The answer is "Yes, they can."

And I don't see how answering the original question can be considered "sticking to the wrong point."
