How to convert multiple Word docs into one PDF file?

Jeff,
I didn't see that anyone replied to your Techwr-l request of Friday, so
here's how I do it:
In full Acrobat (not Reader), open the PDF that you want to appear first
in your mega-PDF.
From the menu bar, select Tools->Insert Pages. The Select File To Insert
dialog box opens.
Navigate to the next document you want and click Select. The Insert
Pages dialog box opens.
Select After for the Location and Last in the Page group, then click OK.
Save the result with the final file name you want to use for your
mega-PDF.
Repeat steps 2 through 4 for each of the small PDFs you want in your
mega-PDF. Save the mega-PDF every 2 or 3 iterations, just in case
something happens. (Acrobat tends to crash on me if I stress it like
this.)
This is a low-tech (but also a low-cost) method. Others may respond with
more elegant solutions.
Good luck,
Beverly
