Subject:Word - Master and Sub docs From:"Evan Martin" <evan -dot- martin -at- garvin-allen -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Mon, 22 Jul 2002 14:46:24 -0300
I'm wondering if someone can help me with Word and numbered lists in
Master/Sub documents. Numbered lists don't seem to want to hold their
formatting.
For example, I have a sub document called "Section 1" that has steps 1-15
numbered. I have another subdocument called "Section 2" that was numbered
1-5, but is now numbered 16-21. I then reset the numbering to restart at
the beginning of Section 2 and it is ok, now numbered 1-5. HOwever, when I
reopen the master document the numbers are all one big list again.
Am I missing something here?
