Re: Word - Master and Sub docs
I'm wondering if someone can help me with Word and numbered lists in
Master/Sub documents. Numbered lists don't seem to want to hold their
formatting.
For example, I have a sub document called "Section 1" that has steps 1-15
numbered. I have another subdocument called "Section 2" that was numbered
1-5, but is now numbered 16-21. I then reset the numbering to restart at
the beginning of Section 2 and it is ok, now numbered 1-5. HOwever, when I
reopen the master document the numbers are all one big list again.
That's why Microsoft called the product MS-Word and not MS-Text or MS-Book. I gave up using MS-Word for bigger text and work with Tex/LaTex, a free typesetting system. No hassle with misplace tables and figures, graphics are no problem and remain place where you put them etc. etc
