I took a graduate course in Instructional Design a few years back. At the
beginning of the class, we took the Learning Styles Inventory survey to
learn what our learning styles were. By studying the learning styles, in
theory, one could present information in a way that makes it possible for
all types of learners to learn the information.
You can take a simplified version of the Learning Styles Inventory at this
site: http://www.merexcorp.com/ls.htm. It also includes some high-level
information about interpreting the results to understand how people with a
certain profile learn.
