I have two suggestions for you that are in the software methodology
arena:

1. _Software Project Survival Guide_ by Steve McConnell
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1572316217/qid=1036529766/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_1/102-3357212-2481730?v=glance&n=507846
From Microsoft Press -- oddly, some of the best software
process books on the market. The methodology described
in this book is a traditional one remains relevant in
many environments. For something more modern and
flexible, see the books on Extreme Programming.

2. _Dynamics of Software Development_ by Jim McCarthy, Denis Gilbert
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1556158238/ref=pd_sim_books_5/102-3357212-2481730?v=glance
Also from MS Press and also very good read. Fairly short
book, talks in examples and provides real ideas to try
with your team.

Best of luck!

Meg
