<<Is there some way once you generate a TOC to:
1. remove the shading
2. Cut and paste the generated TOC into another file
and have it print without gernerating the 'error
cannot find bookmark' message???
I thought in those long ago versions of Word you could
do this without loosing the TOC format......>>
Hi Shana,
Assuming that it is automatically generated TOC in Word 97, i am providing
my views here.
Well, if it is automatically generated TOC and if your want to retain the
link...the grey should remain for you to navigate from the TOC.
In paper, this grey shade will not appear.
But if u r not particular about the TOC link, then you can PRESS
CTRL+SHIFT+F9 to remove the grey shade.
Hope this is what you wanted.
