Subject:RE: Can I Prohibit Printing From A Web Site? From:SteveFJong -at- aol -dot- com To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Wed, 27 Nov 2002 06:39:34 EST
Posting to a Web site but trying to prevent printing is like putting up a
billboard and trying to prevent looking 8^)
It struck me, though, that if the content were displayed as a Flash
animation, a line at a time, that it would not be practical to collect all
the data (rendered as images) to print or save it. I think Flash movies can
be download-locked, too, so you couldn't get it and decompile it.
It's better to redirect the original request.
