TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
I am a writer currently located during this login session at 199.170.89.35.
My GPS coordinates are irrelevant.
I use an IBM TrackPoint keyboard so that my fingers don't have to slow
down to leave the keyboard's home row in order to move the mouse pointer.
The light bulb burned out in my safe, cozy little "make a million bucks
working at home" room a while back, but that's OK, because I can see
what I need to by the glow of my monitor as long as I keep on paying
my electric and online service bills. I think I'll be all right until
my supply of Pepsi Blue, Mountain Dew Code Red and Jif Smooth Sensations
Chocolate Silk runs out. I am currently documenting Bettie Page trivia
to augment my writing portfolio.
