RE: Anyone know anything about The Help Factory?
Not necessarily. They could have won a full-fledged version, like me. Heck, for all the good it's doing me, they could have the full-fledged version I won, which is currently living in the file cabinet. It appears anyway as if they are doing an intro at that price, and if you like the work they'll give you their regular rates.
What they're probably doing is obtaining the free trials of RoboHelp. I
used one of those free demos this summer for a class at the U of MN. I
still get those offers in the mail from RoboHelp. I imagine that whomever
is running that little scam outfit has a number of copies. Funny thing is
that it is a short time gig.
