Okay, I'll quickly chime in as well:

Actually, the payment transaction is done through Pay-Pal, which I use a lot
for my eBay purchases. While The Help Factory cannot produce an invoice this
way, the payer does get an invoice from Pay-Pal itself.
As for lack of contact, there are a myriad of (legit) reasons for this.
Perhaps the person worked at a company that required them signing a
non-competition agreement and the PHB there believes anything but underwater
basket-weaving and professional beer-guzzling constitutes a competitive
practice.
Or a group of friends are putting this together and they don't want their
current employer to learn that this is them (even if they are doing it with
their own equipment, off company time, and are not competing with their own
work). There are a lot of companies that punish people for moonlighting.
