Re: Bruce Perens' Open Source Series with Prentice Hall
Sorry if this has been posted before; I couldn't find it in the archives. I
just came across it, but it's undated, so it may have been there a while.
Apparently, Bruce Perens has set up a deal with Prentice Hall and Barnes &
Noble. For this project, open-source software documentation will be printed
and sold. After the first printing, the documentation will itself become
open source.
The project has been underway for some time, but the official announcement was only released today.
There's quite a bit of discussion, including more details from Bruce on Slashdot and a link to a page with more details.
