Back to the original suggestion of limiting info
provided in this forum for security reasons.

I have a few suggestions:

Use a web based email account so your company URL
is not provided. Use a simple signature, name only,
no company info at all. While a neat sig line is a
nifty way to promote your own company, it also
provides info for the baddies.

For the really paranoid, use a pseudonym and never,
refer to your company name. Create your web based
account on fake data. Some web email accounts can
auto-forward emails for convenience. I simply copy
and paste digests and read at my convenience. This
limits my time connected to the Internet.

Not providing enough information to allow an attack
is better than any firewall or security measures,
but if you insist on being a real person, use
security measures.

Without providing potential access information,
detailing your system can help people resolve
problems without worries.

CB - who may or may not use some or all of the
above techniques, only I know for sure, but is
hoping that the baddies don't take this as a
challenge to come after me
