Aw, c'mon,
Be a romantic. Let the old friend borrow the car to take the old woman to the hospital and spend a rainy evening with the love of your life :)

Have to admit, although I came up with the same answer as others quickly, I might not have done so without the hint.
My first response was to simply say--take the sick old woman. After all, the friend isn't in imminent danger, and I'd never be happy with the love of my life if I'd killed the old woman (and who is this guy who would drive off with me leaving the old woman anyway?).
So the true test was whether the interviewee comes up with the creative answer. I don't know if I would have, I took it as an ethics question.
