Well, I am of the mindset that says people who rely on others for their success
are consistently disappointed. Thus, if you rely on courts or the government to
bring you success, you're in for constant sorrow.

That sounds a lot like Donald Rumsfeild talking about Iraq.

Litigation should always be feared. Like war it is the last chance for
resolving a situation.

I see litigation as a failure; a break down of reason and common sense over
ego, pride, and emotion. I'd like to believe that people, under the right
circumstances, can allow reason to govern their actions. Unfortunately, many
people are incapable of reason. They resort to name calling, posturing, and
anger to impress their will on others. These same people are always quick to
demand "justice" from some third party, which in a sense is just an infantile
need for vindication over one's actions.
