I think this may be the most telling part. Some people enjoy the frequent
changes that come from contracting, others prefer the feeling - even if it's
only illusionary - that they're an integral part of an organization. Neither
is necessarily right or wrong, it's purely personal preference, and we all
excel at thinking up good reasons for taking the paths we prefer.
