In addition to the ideas already mentioned by others, I think no one's
brought it up because it doesn't completely solve the problem. In the
English grammar I learned, the correct third person possessive for "one"
is still "his." As in:
"One brings his lunch to school." Or, likewise, "Everyone brings his books
to class." Or, "One must enter his password to log in and access the main
screen."
One could repeat "one" again as the possessive--"one must enter one's
password"--but as mentioned before, it's awkward and archaic.
