Hi Geoff--
As others have noted, you need to set the background color in your
WinHelp window properties. In the version of RH I'm using, you'd go to
File > Project Settings > Windows > Properties, and then click the "Non
Scroll" button under Window Color. I think it was the same in previous
versions.
Unless that's what you were doing, in which case we can safely say
gremlins are to blame. <g> Sounds like maybe you were using the Borders
& Shading "Fill" feature?
