TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
I've delivered newsletters from FrameMaker in
landscape 11x17. The only thing I expect you'd have to
deal with is using an appropriate number and width of
text columns, especially for that content which you'd
normally put on US-letter.
Personally, depending on the material, I'd prefer
11x17 landscape to be hinged at the top of the long
edge <vbg>, rather than on the short side. That way,
it has less effect when I open it and is stronger . .
.. But, duplexing that would be a pain, and I've never
done it. ;?P
Cheers,
Sean
