If you want to work 40 hours, be a contractor. Most clients cap
contractors at 40 hours. If you work more than 40 hours at contractor
rates, the client is the one who feels exploited.

Of course, as a contractor you will spend an additional 40 hours
worrying about where your next job is coming from :-)
