In this on-going endless debate about a topic in which none of the participants
is an SME, isn't one very important point being overlooked? If you're going to
sue someone for copyright infringement, you'll have to pay thousands to simply
get the defendant to retract their documents. If you want to sue for damages,
you'll have to prove the actual loss in income that you suffered. It was also my
understanding that even to get the copyright enforced you have to prove your
loss.
