Subject:Thanks for help with documentation From:"Karen Cromwell" <KarenCromwell -at- satx -dot- rr -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Fri, 9 May 2003 08:19:07 -0500
Content is the critical factor. In my spreadsheet, I've managed to map the
flow of the site somewhat, identifying the various files as they appear on
the site from homepage through the end of the left nav panel. For every
round of changes, I've created a new spreadsheet with a date, identified the
file that has changes, included the exact text change in the "comments"
field of the spreadsheet, and a rationale for the change. I've decided this
is a human endeavor for which no software has been developed to mimic!
Any thoughts? I'm still researching all the suggestions and am going to
report to the head tech mucky-muck today on my thoughts (jello, mostly).
BTW, I'm really enjoying this discussion group. I may have to "unplug" just
to get my job done. I don't know how the rest of you manage. I must be hot
dog fodder.
Karen
