:-) When they tell me they won't know how a feature is going to work until they've finished coding, I offer to write the doc first and let them code to match. I haven't been taken up on it yet, but sometimes I'm invited to requirements and design reviews.
I suspect that those invitations will stop if I keep making such a nuisance of myself in the meetings. ;-)
