Hi Anthony,

Here is an idea anyway.

1. Open the *_TOC.fm file.

2. Select Reference Pages from the View menu.

3. Find the Table of Contents Specification section (mine was on page 7,
but I am sure it varies).

4. Assign the appropriate Paragraph Tag to each entry (for example
ChapterTitleTOC).

5. Remove any non-essential items (such as <$paranum> tags). Typically,
all you really need is the <$paratext> tag, a tab (defined in the
Paragraph Tag as a right, dotted tab typically), and the <$paranum> tag.

6. When you finish working with the Table of Contents Specification
section, find an unmarked (sorry, there is no title for this section)
section with something like the following as the first line:
openObjectId <$relfilename>:<$ObjectType> <$ObjectId>
If you select the <$relfilename> tag, you should see *ActiveTOC in the
Paragraph Tag drop-down (toolbar).

7. Underneath the openObjectId line, there are <$paratext> <$pagenum>
tags. Treat them as you did in steps 4 and 5 (appropriate Paragraph Tag,
removing non-essentials).

8. When you finish working with the unmarked "openObjectId" section, you
will see another section (possibly on the next page). It will look
similar to the <$paratext> <$pagenum> tags you have seen previously.
Treat everything in this section as you did in steps 4 and 5.

NOTE: You may or may not have all of these, and they are sure to be
setup slightly differently. If you still have problems, feel free to
send me a file and I'll have a look.

Good Luck!
