John:
Look up "A Message to Garcia," on Google. There are some modern spins placed
on this story about a messenger chosen to deliver a message to a general.
Unbeknownst to the messenger, though, was the expectation that he'd be
captured and the message would be believed by the captors, causing them to
lose a battle. However, the dedicated, inspired, devoted messenger got
through, and, well, read the story, and the modern spins, too.
One Google hit notes that "anyone who works for a boss should read this."
Regards,
Peter Gold
