Hi, John:
I don't know if you could use the following to illustrate the definition of
"kludge," but it might work, if the text is on a background that OCR
software can work with:
Capture the screen, and save the image to disk as tiff, use OCR to extract
the text.
Note: You can use Acrobat's File > Open as PDF, and Tools > Paper Capture
plug-in (if you don't have it, you can download it from Adobe -
Windows-only) to OCR.
