In general, I'm delighted that younger people don't
know what it was like "back then" because that tells
me those days are gone--and a good thing too. So
maybe they don't appreciate how far we've all come.

Fairly recently, a friend of mine who was not long out
of high school, had been working a little while at
nothing special, decided to get married, stay home,
and have kids. I was shocked. I said, "My god, woman
is this what we went to the barricades for?"
She said: "Yes." And she was right. How annoying :)
