TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Please let's stop slapping ourselves on the back for our "rough and tumble"
list.
People will spend hours posting, reading, and responding to the most
ridiculous crap that has little to do with technical writing and then act
like its a personal affront when someone posts a question that they,
god-like in their glory, have heard before. How long does it take to type
"Check the archives?" A lot less time than it takes to dress down and sniff
at the "newbie" who doesn't know better.
