Some sections in my document list the page size for Letter as 8.5"x
11.01." I want the default Letter size to be 8.5 x 11"
If I click Letter under page size, it changes to the standard size, but
the changes seem temporary. There are many sections in the document,
including many that are not of 8.5 x 11" portrait.
If I change the sections to simply Letter 8.5" x11", they inevitably
change back to reflect 11.01". The document is based on NORMAL.DOT.
I looked at the settings for default page size for Letter in NORMAL.DOT
and they reflect 8.5" x 11", which is the U.S. standard.
I have "Maggied" the document.
I have saved as RTF.
Those are the first things I do to fix Word problems, other than reboot.
I feel I am missing something simple. I did not originally compose the
document, otherwise I would have based it on something other than
NORMAL.DOT.
Just when I thought I was good, Word happened again.
