I use the Merriam-Webster online dictionary, and now I'm thinking about subscribing to the Merriam-Webster Unabridged online.
How often have you benefitted from having an *unabridged* dictionary, vs. something with less heft? I've read other posts with lists of dictionaries and personal preferences, and there's no need to repeat. What I want to know is how often you wipe your brow and say, "Whew, I'm sure glad I had that unabridged dictionary!"
(OK, OK. All I really want to know is, should I pay money for the unabridged, or just keep using the free dictionary.)
Thanks,
Todd Crandell
