My first instinct is to agree with Tom that pushpin is the right choice, for the reason he stated.

However, before you go to far, you might want to look into whether there are any trademark or patent issues relative to the same device as used in the Sun UNIX graphical interface (I think they introduced this with Solaris; I don't recall seeing it earlier than that).
