A friend of mine did bad headlines on purpose in college. He was the night
editor on the college newspaper, which was a secure job, since no one else
wanted it. He reached his nadir with a story about a welfare mom who was
out at a disco when her apartment caught fire and engulfed her kids. The
headline:

MOTHER DANCES WHILE CHILDREN BURN

My father did something along the same lines when titling mechanical drawing
in the aerospace industry. He was doing the drawings for the outer skin of
a missile for the Navy, and he told his boss he'd use Navy terminology to
please the client. He got the "Aft Skin Assembly" and the "Mid Skin
Assembly" through the system without any hiccups, then, having lulled the
checkers, nearly got the "Fore Skin Assembly" out the door before somebody
noticed.
