Sheesh...more misinformation.

You can EASILY configure your Windows machines to prevent ANY component Java,
ActiveX, etc. from running automatically. Very similar to the Mozilla
configurations.

Go to Tech Ed site and read about Security Policies - particularly settings for
Unsigned components. Also, read about IE security zone settings. You can also
configure your Zones to automatically block running ANY components. These same
zones are used by Outlook, Outlook Express, and most other native Windows apps.
You should read up on this, you clearly don't understand how they work.

If the component doesn't run, then it exposes no security flaw. Simple as that.
