You don't always win, but that doesn't mean your work
is in vain. Sure, you may have to pick up and move on,
for whatever the reason (my case was ultimately due to
three sucky quarters in a row followed by zero
investor funding to support the current staff - yeah,
it was a pre-IPO company). But, lessons learned are
valuable and can be applied at the next go-around.
And yeah, as much as it sucks to be temporarily out of
work, you gotta look at the bright side if you were
(willingly or not) released from a bad situation.
Certainly no regrets on my side.
