Subject:Re: Can't search the PDF file. (Happier day) From:Sean Brierley <seanb_us -at- yahoo -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Thu, 23 Oct 2003 07:21:29 -0700 (PDT)
I don't use double-byte stuff.
But, FWIW, Acrobat and FrameMaker have been working
for me together since FM 5.5 and Acrobat 3. That is,
4, and 5 were fine and 6 is. Although, they have
always needed to work on the installation--it's
getting better though.
I think that Acrobat-3 compatibility and not embedding
fonts might be a bad idea, and I am unfamiliar with
the menu option, but heck, if you're happy with the
results ....
Cheers,
Sean
