Dismay? This is a Good Thing. The more things that get caught early (not
that I'd expect many), the fewer hours you'll be frantically putting in at
deadline.

Well, my first thought is: Why do you *have* to call it anything?
My second though is: "Unfinished business."
My third thought is (assuming we're talking about engieering reviewers): Use
a language they'll understand: Version numbers. 0.01, 0.0112, 0.02, etc. Put
low version numbers next to the date field that I'm sure you have in the
header or footer. That'll allow them and you to make sure you're working
with the most recent interim versions.
