Re: Searching Text in Multiple PDF Files..
I googled, and downloaded PDF Searcher and File Hunter but none works. I
want to search for a text string in multiple PDF files at once, does anybody
know any helpful tool?
Adobe makes an iFilter for PDF files; we use this to make PDF files searchable for a web site, but this doesn't work (or at least is not documented to work) with the Windows built-in search:

These guys appear to have a version of the PDF iFilter that works on an end-user workstation with the Windows Search. I haven't tried this; I'd be interested to know if it works OK:

I wonder how hard it would be to make Adobe's free version work with Windows Search.
