One thing I forgot to mention in my last message is to make the next two
weeks look *HARD!* Put in lots of OT, look haggard on the job, and when
you see your boss make sure the cup of coffee in your hand shakes a little
;)
The point of all this is to make it plain to the people who assign
ridiculous deadlines what it costs those who have to carry them out! After
you successfully deliver to their unreasonable deadline, the last thing
you want is for them to think that you can do it in *1 week.*
When you do deliver on time, you'll have pretty good leverage to insist
that they add you to the distribution list for project scheduling. Make
sure you factor in enough time to do the job right next time.
Good luck,
Chris
