As I've said before, the audience shouldn't care about this stuff. It shouldn't
even notice it. But,then, the audience doesn't care if the program is written
in .NET or Java, either. That doesn't mean that the issue is unimportant.
For that matter, I never notice very many people objecting when someone is
agonizing over whether a word should have a hyphen or not.
Obviously, you can give such matters too much attention. But it doesn't hurt to
know your options.

What if your company is concerned about how the manuals or help affect its
branding? Then it becomes another concern to juggle.
