Hi folks,
A technician here at my job asked me if I knew of any templates for
testing/workflow. I asked him if he searched google and he said yes. So I
offered to post it to the know-it-alls on this list for him. He's looking
to document some testing procedures.

It's been a few years since I played with those, but I seem to remember some excellent structured outlines for all sorts of software and hardware life cycle documentation (including test plans, test procedures, and test reports) buried somewhere in the IEEE standards. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to this multiple-volume standards set so I can't give an exact edition/volume/page number citation.
