I"ve never seen that error, but then my FrameMaker files are never larger
than 10 Mb. I think your problem is caused by storing the images in the
FrameMaker file instead of linking to them. People who've used MS Word
tend to distrust linking to images, but I've used FM for years, creating
and modifying documents on Windows and Mac platforms, and it has never
messed up a link.
