The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Well yes, it would if there were still any of them
left (I suppose there may be in some companies), but
my experience is that "production people" were all
pretty much done away with when writers all got stuck
with becoming "one-writer shops" whether we're the
only person on the doc team or not. That's why I
continue to be nostalgic for the days when I actually
got to spend the majority of my time as a writer
actually researching and writing content.
