Techwhirlers,

I've been asked by a colleague to gather some information about hourly quotes for a project she wants to farm out to a third-party resource. She's looking for someone to edit (technical and copy) and validate (against the system) already-written content (about 300-350 pages).

Considering that we're in the Bay Area, what would you consider a fair market rate for a job like this? Also, does anyone have a metric (man-days or pages per hour) for a job like that?

Thanks in advance,
Scott
