I'd like to address the original intent of this topic, which was to come
up with a list of Word vs Frame features, as a way of justifying staying
with FM.

That approach is the wrong approach. It's wrong because management
doesn't care about any feature that isn't used by the specific
situation. They don't care how wonderful FM is, or how wonderful Word
is, or what other people feel is the reason to go to or stay with FM. If
you were the most effective with clay and chisel, that's what you'd be
justifying against.

Instead, figure out what would be important in THEIR eyes, and justify
on that...you should need less than 10 points, five points would be
better.

BTW...I was successful in switching over from Word FM at this company
using this approach, even though in the past, the attempt to move from
Word to FM failed several times.
