TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Why go through all of this...almost every ISP give you the ability to
create multiple email address. Make one you never look at and use it for
the same purpose. When it gets too spammed, delete it and create another
one.

Rather than going through the whole process of setting up a Yahoo
account, you can use the service provided by Spamex
(http://www.spamex.com) to create throwaway email addresses. I've used
it for over a year, and love it. You can create a specific email address
(such as vendorname -at- spamex -dot- com) to be able to recognize it easily, or
you can let it create one
