It is immaterial from that standpoint whether it stays on the same server or one elsewhere. A relatively simple transition involving a change in DNS registration and the same email address, same web address, etc. would be maintained.
Thus, no need to worry about that point...unless there is a failure to arrive at a reasonable resolution of the ownership question and/or someone starts a competing resource.
Let's focus on the most significant points...one of which is to determine how far apart a realistic pricing might be from Eric and Deborah's expectations--and if a plan can be advanced to which they may agree. Mechanical details such as "what server"--while they must obviously be included--are relatively trivial in the grand scheme of things.
