Hello Sabyasachi,

Thanks to your query I have included two short, one page, chapters on
the Microsoft Manual of Style in my book on technical writing.

My book (written in the form of a column and is a work in progress) is
intended for guiding new technical writers in India. I am writing at
least one short chapter a day based on queries on lists or my
interaction with technical writers.

Write to documentorg-subscribe -at- topica -dot- com to receive the book chapters
(one a day).

Sabyasachi Hazarika asked:

I am a new entrant in tech writing. I wanted to know
about different styles of technical writing like
Microsoft style etc. Can somebody give me a little
information on this? Web links will do. I want to
know the characteristics of the different styles.
