We don't use this in our documents, and in a situation in which I had
a free hand to decide whether to do it or not, in the absence of any
arguement from someone in favor of using it, I wouldn't. However,
the original question came from someone who was asking for help
in making a "case" for why it should be removed. My point was,
it's not a change I'd consider worth making much of an effort to do
if I was going to have to "sell" it.
