They count, but not as 100% water. You might get a few ounces of water out
of a soda pop, but it isn't equal to the total amount that you drank. Some
of these things are diuretics, which actually dehydrate you more than if you
hadn't drank (drunk?) them at all.

On another OT but somewhat-related thought, dehydration is a big part of
what causes hangovers. Avoid dehydration, and you're less likely to be hung
over later.
