Without specifying a particular domain (electronics, mech. engineering, commercial software), what reference books have you experts and demi-experts found most useful in your trade? For instance, "Handbook of Technical Writing" by Alred, Brusaw, and Oliu..I can't just trust the Amazon.com reviews can I?
